I'm not sure I'm good at this...

This whole blogging thing isn't working out that great for me, I'm not going to give it up but I'm not great at keeping up to date.

At the moment, life been... busy to say the least. Everything's a shambles but I'm working hard to fix it all.

Just thought you all should know...

What the hell else am I gonna want for 777¥?

http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/22/burger-king-selling-a-windows-7-whopper-in-japan/

Seriously?! ARE YOU SERIOUS JAPAN?! THIS is the best you can come up with?

For aprox AU$9.15, I would think that japan could come up with something better than this. Burger King in Japan have released for 7 days, the Windows 7 Whopper which consists of the regular Whopper ingredients, plus SIX EXTRA PATTIES! Now we all know that Japan is the worlds most random place in the world, making it by far the coolest, but c'mon, the is a bit of a weak idea.

Okay, it is a bit ignorant of me to blame the whole of Japan for this lame idea, but whoever represents Burger King in Japan has got some asplianin' to dooooo.

How Interesting

It seems all the people who were slightly motivated by me to start blogs have all stopped.

How sad.

Blogging is becoming a forgotten past-time. With twitter and micro-blogging, people no longer feel the need to explain in detail there emotions or thoughts, 140 characters should do it.

Oh my, I am sorry.

I have been a bit lazy with updating this here blog, and for that I do send my deepest apologies.

The holidays have begun, just recently found out I have holiday homework, pretty ghey. A lot has actually happened during this week though, so I'll try and get it all in here.

My cousin, Anies, and I made a chocolate x-box controller on the weekend. Gotta love doing things on a whim. It turned out great, I have a video of it, it'll go up on YouTube soon enough.

I recently purchased a longboard skateboard, and have been practicing, but it's really hard to practice on my street, due to it being VERY steep. Determined I am though. I also got my hand on a brand new monitor, I won't bore you with specs, If you really wanna know just leave a comment.

Tuesday night was great, Tapai held a games night, where some gaming happened, some didn't. Nevertheless, twas a fun night indeed. Thank you kind sir for having us.

On the downside, I seem to have spent all the money in my savings. BUT, I will soon have a job and can accumulate it again in no time... I hope...

Hoping the rest of the holidays will be as eventful as the past few days.

Made me giggle.

So you may have noticed that my blogs tend to be getting shorter, and you would be observant. 'Tis true that they are decreasing in length, but that because long ones are boring and harder to write and compose in a manner of constant intellect and wit.

On that note, as I was walking like Cashman down our 3 steps, I felt my boobs jump. It was humorous for a minute. Then I realised I had man boobs...

Also, new favicon! (google it)

Do you see what I did there?!

As you may notice (if you're not blind or oblivious to the colours black and white, which would render you helpless of reading my blog anyways), I've changed a few things. You may now notice a new background, very simplistic, nothing special, and a new (and very shitty) banner, which I will soon replace when I have some decent design inspiration.

Just thought you should know is all...

Thought Of The Day - Sep 11

Today I saw a stretch limo, a silver Chrysler one to be precise. A damn fine carving of metal, but it got me thinking, why are these things considered luxury?

I mean, it's just a tiny room that you cant even stand up or keep balance in, what the hell is luxurious about that?! Fuck limos, I'm having my own tour bus.

At Least It's A Change.

As some of you may have read, in my last post I was whinging that life was average (which was actually a while ago, sorry guys). Well to my surprise, not very long after that, a lot of things began to happen.

First things first, I recently went back to taekwondo, and let me tell you, after not doing it for so long, it took a hell of a lot out of me. I still have blisters on my feet. But besides the blisters, it was really fun. Meeting Mr. No again was great, and going through all the techniques was reminiscent and enjoyable. One good thing about going back is that I don't have to start all over again, since I got up to black belt second poom (Poom is for junior, and yes it is a funny word), and I am registered with a Kukiwon certificate.

Next was my new band, Atlantis Is Burning. We did have a kinda jam the week before taekwondo, but it was pretty much a meet and greet and get to know our playing styles type of thing. This week we managed to write a whole song in one jam session. We couldn't help but hug each other after jamming through it successfully. Truly a powerful moment.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know I'm happy.
thanks for readin'

More Average Than Average Itself.

Pretty much my life for the past few days, hence the reason of no new posts.

There really is not much going on at all, and all I really feel like doing is sleeping. I'm not sure whether I'm a fan of sleeping or not. At times I feel sleep is just a waste of time, but when i have been asleep, all I can think about is getting back to sleep as soon as I wake up.

A dilemma indeed...

Speaking Of Wasting Time.

I recently joined 'gaia online'...

Yeah yeah, I know, my penis is still intact, and to tell you the truth, I truly have no idea why I joined either. It seemed like a good idea in the 2 minutes it took to sign up. Honestly, it's actually kinda fun, well for two days, it's been kinda fun but I doubt it can stay too fun for long.

On the topic of time-wasters, from tomorrow evening, after VET, I shall be creating a FaceBook account. Now before you all start picking on me for going back on my word, I shall tell you, this is only an experiment. For one month, I will be using FaceBook like I actually had interest in it. If it proves useful and relevant to my everyday life, I'll keep it and go back on my word that it sucks and its an over complicated version of twitter.

BUT, if I find that it is truly useless, then it shall be deleted and never spoken of again.

A Perfect Day Wasted...

Today I feel terrible. I feel like I've wasted a perfectly awesome day. I mean, it just has that look and smell about it.

I woke up at about 2:00 pm, and immediately I knew I had wasted something special. These days are of a rarity.

Now I'm kinda sad...

Fuck You Melbourne 'Thugs'

I figured it was about time to finally write a blog with an actual topic, so I went to read the paper and, as usual, I skip to my favourite section, 'Your Say' which is all the letters and emails and what not that people write in to the Herald Sun.

The topic of the day seemed to be the violence in Melbourne, which has been pissing me off for a very long time. As someone who couldn't fend off a four year old with a pointy stick, going to to the city is pretty much an impossibility for me. As a music lover and event goer, I enjoy going to see the bands I love, and going to things at fed square and Melbourne Showgrounds and the Exhibition Centre.

To my dismay, mother also knows that I have not the ability to hold back a toddler with a hammer, so she never lets me anywhere near the city, due to the fact that she hears all these things about violence and bashings and what not in the city areas.

So to all you who think that they are tougher than the guy writing in a pool of his own blood while you hold a smashed bottle of beer in your hand, FUCK OFF! Your penis is an average size, and you will always be less superior than the rich, just like the fucking rest of us. Let me look like an 'emo', and get a new insult.

'til next time.

There's no such thing as a 'Second Blog'

Orly?! Oh well, I guess I'll use this time to explain a bit about me, let you into the world of Matt.

Self descriptions have always been hard for me but I'll do my best. I'm a pretty wacked out Caucasian fellow from the boring town of Croydon. As a youngen, I was desperate to fit in, so, being a dude, I played sports. I remember getting up every Saturday to go to Auskick. That never really payed off, I still suck at footy.

Although I may have sucked at things, I stuck to them, I have always been persistent in thing I want. For example, I did taekwondo for quite a while, I reached black belt second dan, but once again proved useless for the present day, I suck at fighting. I was in the Victorian Boys Choir for five years, which is a considerable part of my life, and I don't regret it one bit, but to my dismay, all that training proved useless once my voice broke, after I quit.

When I entered high school, it was a traumatic experience to say the least. I was not very popular at all, and rumors went around that I was a gay drug dealer... kids eh? But anyways, the first two years of the high school weren't much fun at all, but by year 9 I had learned how to socialise. I had some friends but that isn't really a year I remember much of. To tell you the truth I cant remember anything from then besides dating Nadine and declaring my bi-sexuality.

Year 10 rolled round, I had my share of love related problems, nearly driving me to the point of suicide. Somehow they eventually sorted themselves out, and ended the year in a steady relationship. Love wasn't my only problem though, some school related problems had once again arisen, but it was less rumor ridden and more some homophobia from certain members of the D.B.C. (our years rebels, for those who don't understand).

The transition from year 10 to 11 was a strange one. VCAL was amazingly easy, and I learned why it was giving the retarded reputation, it was kind of demeaning, but why complain when it's so easy, huh? By then, I had sum actual plans for my life, which was something new. After doing one year of Music Industry Skills, I figured I wanted to be a graphic designer. Well, it wasn't just that that made me decide, when I was with Rust (my first real band), I enjoyed making album covers mare than actually play the music at times. But anyways...

This brings us to the point when I am now. A year 12 VCAL student, studying multimedia, cruising through school, anticipating its end.

I do hope I haven't bored you all, and if I have I'm terribly sorry. If you've reached here, I feel like I should thank you, because I've never been great at literacy, you could say I have a wide vocabulary at least though...
Well, thank you.
'til next time,
Matt

The Obligatory 'First Blog' Blog.

Well, I guess I might as well explain my reasoning for starting this. Here goes nothin'.

In a way, I've always liked the idea of having a diary, but I truly despise writing. It's not a tech obsession or an adaptation to typing, it's just that i find it very uncomfortable and my hand always cramps up and shit, it's fucking annoying. Any-who, Seeing as this whole blogging thing has been around for a while now, I figured why the hell not use this as a sort of open diary type thing.

I don't really expect people to be interested in anything I do, but you know, I can always hope at least someone is. Plus I can always look back at this in future years.

I'll try to keep this thing relatively intellectual, but I can be a sophisticated intellectual mastermind all the time, not with the amount of time I've spent on the internet, the things I've seen... oh rule #34, what have you done to me?!

Ahem... anyways, yes, welcome to the diary of I, Matt Hart, the original 'thelast1uthinkof'

Till next time,
Ta-ta
